Job Summary
Responsible for the technical program management activities and alignment for strategic programs, coordinating among a wide range of cross-functional internal and external resources to ensure that programs are within the scope, within budget and on schedule, with guidance from senior staff member(s). Serve as the program lead for specific, defined multi-discipline technical programs or projects of greater than average complexity and scope. Responsible and accountable in the planning, development and delivery of new technical programs. Recognized as an expert in own area within organization. Provides leadership, mentoring and guidance. May participate in the development of business strategy. Decisions are far-reaching in terms of setting precedents for the business and technology.

About the Team:
The Global Product & Technology Delivery Planning and Business Operations team supports portfolio management and planning, delivery commitments, data analytics automation, dashboarding and reporting for product Management and Engineer in support of the overall organization's Initiative Product lifecycle.
Job Profile Summary
Responsible for the technical program management activities relating to Planning and Portfolio management of the Entertainment Organization. This role ensures alignment for strategic programs, coordinating among a wide range of cross-functional internal and external teams to ensure that planning activities are communicated and managed effectively. Serve as the Planning program lead for top Entertainment Initiatives with multi-discipline technical programs or projects of greater than average complexity and scope. Responsible and accountable in the planning, development, and delivery of new technical programs. Acts as a technical expert in planning, tooling, execution of commitments, and measuring success for these activities. May work independently or as part of a team on more complex projects. Provides mentoring and guidance to more junior members of the organization. May be responsible for leading team members but does not directly manage people.
Core Responsibilities
- Understands the scope of technical programs as defined by the product and business requirements and the budget process.
- Manages the planning and execution of milestones commitments through various tools including JIRA, Smartsheet, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
- Drives success with the use of status dashboards, communication, and metrics
- Identifies, confirms and obtains participation from required cross-functional teams. Ensures team clearly understands roles and responsibilities for the duration of the planning.
- Drives meetings, follow ups and education session to ensure comprehension of planning model and execution
- Updates and maintains JIRA, Smartsheet, Excel, and Powerpoint documents for planning activities and status reports
- Responsible for owning and delivering cohesive communications across the planning Ways of working processes, stakeholders and executive teams
- Works with cross-functional Initiative and Platform teams across deliverables
- Understanding of JIRA and Alignment with Ways of Working Planning model
- Identifies milestones, goals and success criteria for the Initiative with key stakeholders and core team. Raises conflicts and resolves with the appropriate level of management engagement to build consensus.
- Recommends changes to improve the engineering process and to alleviate process inaccuracy and duplication.
- Helps to generate new ideas to make planning and tracking of commitments more efficient
- Helps to obtain updates on major milestones and keeps all stakeholders informed of progress and issues. Identifies and manages proposed changes to program parameters and works with managers to ensure appropriate processes and communications are followed. Work is evaluated upon completion to ensure objectives have been met. Contributes to the development of organization's goals and objectives.
