Job Title: Software Research Engineer

What you'll be doing:

Seeking a candidate with software engineering research expertise to develop algorithms for functional services for a remote vehicle sensor data collection system that is able to communicate wirelessly with the Backoffice. The project will cover multiple phases including the following stages: vehicle sensor data processing, selective camera data collection application development, secure end-to-end wireless communication pipelining, data treatment enrichment, and field experiments.

What you need for this position:

• Computer science background, or similar background, and is able to write computer programs independently
• Must possess a Master's degree
  • PhD strongly preferred
• Experienced with C/C++, Java and/or Python
  • Proficient level of embedded C/C++ programming experience is highly preferred
• Experience with advanced data structures, multi threading, machine learning and text-book algorithms (sorting, trees, sets)
• Good communication and problem solving abilities
