Technical Engineering Program Manager is positioned to plan and drive Intel's Tester Development Programs and Tester Technology Roadmap.
Responsibilities will include:
- Program Management for Intel's Tester Development Programs including Intel's Optical Tester Development Program.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to plan and drive pilot and deployment strategies.
- Conduct strategic requirements gathering and planning to determine the future direction of the organization and ensure continued growth and success.
- Regularly makes decisions that have a long-lasting impact on the Tester Development Programs and Processes that drive the organization
- Serves as an internal consultant to senior management and spokesperson for the organization on the Tester Development Programs
- Partner with technologists across Test to identify gaps and drive ROI based decisions on solutions for 3-5+ year Roadmap.
- Align Tester teams and partner groups on the next generation of equipment needs to enable the Roadmap.
- Drive GSC Supplier Roadmap pathfinding, development and execution against the Roadmap.
- Tester Fleet management including EOL, fleet health metrics, fleet improvement roadmap,
- Partner with the test strategy team to align Intel product needs with the Tester portfolio
The ideal candidate:
- Demonstrates results as an Engineering Program Manager in driving the successful execution of large, technically complex, high impact Engineering programs.
- Has expertise in several highly specialized or intellectual fields of study.
- Integrates in-depth knowledge of several disciplines.
- Leads the design, development and implementation of highly advanced new technologies and approaches.
- Possess breadth of knowledge of the business across the functional teams in previously executed programs.
- Demonstrated understanding to Follow, Challenge and Influence the Planning and Execution of work for each functional area.
- Possess breadth of knowledge and understanding to Influence and nurture partnerships with Key Stakeholders in previously executed programs
- Understanding of Customer Schedule, Integrated Final Product, Key Capability Requirements and Dependencies enough to Follow, Challenge and Influence customer interaction to balance Customer Obsession within business constraints.
- Has maturity in Leader to Leader interactions with compelling and respectful Communication, Delegation and collaborative Overcoming of obstacles.
- Has sustained expertise in the area of Program Management on multiple Programs including Use of Industry Trends/Best Practices for Program Management, viewed by Peers as "go-to".
- Makes critical decisions, proactively mitigates problems, defines priorities for resourcing and budgeting, and ensures exceptional execution of the technical work to achieve business results.
- Utilizes detailed understanding of processes, interdependencies and gating criteria for milestone closure to advance program schedule with appropriate urgency.
- Demonstrates effective communication skills in presentations to customers and senior management on program status and issues.
- Strategic Influence and Leadership in Project Planning and Execution for large/complex Programs - brings game changing ideas to influence Teams/Management/Programs.
- Willingness to Set Up, clearly communicate and effectively use Program Team, Meeting Structure, Decision Making Structure, Leader accountability and other infrastructural tasks to make Program successful.
- Consistently uses innovative logic to drive state-of-the-art solutions to highly complex problems and extends the understanding of a given field.
- Experience with Competitive Analysis and Roadmap development.
- Experience with GSC collaboration and Supplier management.
Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years, or Masters with 3+ years, or PhD with 1+ years of experience in Engineering field.
- 3+ years of experience in Strategic Engineering Program Management.
