What is Polygon Labs?

Polygon Labs is a software development company building and developing a network of aggregated blockchains via the AggLayer secured by Ethereum. As public infrastructure the AggLayer will bring together user bases and liquidity for any connected chain and leverage Ethereum as a settlement layer.  Polygon Labs has also contributed to the core development of several widely-adopted scaling protocols and tools for launching blockchains including Polygon PoS Polygon zkEVM and Polygon Miden which is in development as well as Polygon CDK.

Job Description:

As a Technical Program Manager at Polygon Labs you will orchestrate and manage complex Web3 projects and initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams leveraging your expertise in program management blockchain technologies and strategic planning to ensure the successful execution of our Web3 roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Strategy: Collaborate with senior leadership and product managers to define program objectives strategies and roadmaps aligned with the company's Web3 vision. The ability to write a Product Requirements Doc (PRD) is a plus.

• Project Coordination: Lead a portfolio of Web3 projects ensuring alignment with program goals and objectives. Oversee project managers and teams fostering collaboration and innovation.

• Technical Proficiency: Maintain a deep understanding of Web3 technologies blockchain platforms smart contracts decentralized applications (DApps) and related tools and protocols.

• Risk Management: Identify assess and mitigate program-level risks. Develop contingency plans and address issues that may impact program delivery.

• Resource Allocation: Manage program resources including budgets staffing and technology requirements. Ensure efficient resource allocation and utilization.

• Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality control processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality Web3 solutions. Oversee testing validation and compliance with industry standards.

• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain transparent and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Provide regular updates on program progress milestones and deviations from the plan.

• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive program documentation including strategic plans program charters and status reports.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and emerging Web3 technologies. Propose and implement process improvements and best practices to enhance program efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

• Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager in the Web3 or blockchain industry.

• Strong knowledge of blockchain technologies such as Ethereum Polygon Polkadot or other relevant networks and familiarity with consensus protocols.

• Proficiency in program management methodologies and tools.

• Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to adapt to evolving program requirements and priorities.

• Experience with DApps and Smart Contract development is a plus.

• Certifications like PgMP PMP or similar are advantageous.
