The Impact You’ll MakeYou will focus on helping build out our next-generation Ads platform to manage thousands of advertisers globally and build technology to serve relevant content to the neighbors.
You will be responsible for the following areas:
- The cross-functional delivery of Nextdoor’s advertising product offerings via coordination and communication Project dependency tracking, ability to lean into problems and propose simple solutions
- Facilitate the collaboration and coordination of the execution and delivery of multi-functional, sometimes concurrent, projects
- Maintain an ongoing timeline for key milestones, capabilities, and launches to be consumed by other business stakeholders
- You will help coordinate and project manage the operational rollout of new releases, partnering with Product, Product Marketing, and Sales/Ops to facilitate the roll-out of new products from alpha to GA
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Sales, to balance competing interests
- Partner cross-functionally to aid in the intake and organization of feature requests for existing products
- Collect and analyze data to influence product roadmaps and the prioritization of product features
- Ensure quality and timeliness of shipped software, while monitoring project health and progress using project management tools such as Google Docs, JIRA, Coda,Â
- Be a key player in the continuous evolution of the team's processes and execution
- Partner with cross functional teams on adoption effortsÂ
- Develop a “sixth sense” and have a point of view and plan of action on the next challenge the team will need to overcome to meet the deliverables
- 3-5 years of experience in advertising, spanning Ad Operations, Project Management, Product Operations, Campaign Management, Account Management, or similar experience
- A strong understanding of digital advertising platforms and operational processes
- You have a proven project management background. You have a strong track record partnering across sales and technical teams to drive towards a common outcome
- You’re a strong generalist -- you are comfortable owning outcomes and plugging gaps where needed to get things done
- Ability to communicate effectively and establish credibility with technical and non-technical stakeholders including executive staff
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- A strong passion for Nextdoor's mission
- Demonstrated passion for understanding ambiguous, complex problems and driving innovative and robust technical solutions and developer community projects
- Exceptional stakeholder management, judgment, strong negotiation skills, the ability to influence others, and an analytical mindset
- Fluency in the ads industry trends and products
Compensation, benefits, perks, and recognition programs at Nextdoor come together to create one overall rewards package.
The starting salary for this role is expected to range from $105,000 to $185,000 on an annualized basis, or potentially greater in the event that your 'level' of proficiency exceeds the level expected for the role. Compensation may also vary by geography.
We also expect to award a meaningful equity grant for this role. With equal quarterly vesting, your first vest date would be within the first 3 months of your start date.
Overall, total compensation will vary depending on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
