Technical Program Manager - Albert

ColdQuanta is the leader in Cold Atom Quantum Technology, the most scalable, versatile, and commercially viable area of quantum. ColdQuanta is dedicated to making quantum a reality through the deployment of Information Processing Systems, and development of precision timing, sensing, and networking solutions.

ColdQuanta's Quantum Signal Processing (QSP) team is lowering the barriers associated with quantum technology development, research, and education. The QSP team is developing cloud-based quantum matter platforms. Recipient of the 2022 SPIE Prism Award for top quantum innovation, ColdQuanta's QSP Platforms will revolutionize the future of quantum technologies.

We are seeking an experienced, agile, and creative Technical Program Manager - Albert (TPMA) to support the development of the world's first quantum matter platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary scientific, engineering, and software teams. Additionally, the newly hired PMA will possess leadership qualities and skills that motivate project team members to drive projects to success.

Responsibilities include, but are not to:

• Manage multiple complex development projects, including the development, tracking, and reporting of roadmaps, schedules, and milestones
• Identify key project and development risks, and work with management and technical leadership to develop and execute mitigation plans
• Manage sprint planning and lead the associated sprint meetings & reporting process
• Ensure that necessary staffing, equipment, and materials are in place to successfully execute key projects
• Collaborate with purchasing and operations teams to ensure efficient supply chain for quantum signal processing projects, including inventory tracking and procurement processes

Requirements

We expect candidates for this role to bring:

• Demonstrated leadership experience in highly technical, fast-paced environments
• Proven expertise in project management for complex, hardware intensive, R&D and product development
• Significant experience in leading complex projects to successful completion within timelines and budget
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of an organization are critical to effectively manage, motivate, and collaborate in our fast-paced, highly technical environment
• Agile & Atlassian (Jira and Confluence) experience required

We're also hoping that you'll bring:

• PMP/DASM/PMI-ACP certification
• Experience working with one or more of the following disciplines is not required but a plus: quantum technology, optical systems, software, embedded systems
• Bachelor's degree or above in engineering, science, or other technical degree

Benefits

This position pays $140,000 - $175,000 per year (under review)
