About the job

A problem isn't truly solved until it's solved for all. That's why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Our goal is to build a Google that looks like the world around us - and we want Googlers to stay and grow when they join us. As part of our efforts to build a Google for everyone, we build diversity, equity, and inclusion into our work and we aim to cultivate a sense of belonging throughout the company.
As a Developer Experience (DevEx) Technical Program Manager, you will partner with the Engineering, Program and Product Management teams to deliver the next generation of application programming interface (APIs) and tooling to deliver key improvements in the android game and graphics developer ecosystem.
The Platforms and Ecosystems product area encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications). The products provide enterprises, and ultimately end users, the ability to utilize and manage their services at scale. We build innovative and compelling software products-from apps to TVs, from laptops to phones-that have an impact on people's lives across the world.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Product, UX and Engineering to define and deliver yearly and quarterly Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) by ensuring the roadmap for Games and Graphics is on track and drive delivery of features through the entire lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and set clear expectations about responsibilities and common goals.
  • Co-author success metrics and ensure targets are achieved by managing schedules, team deliverables, and communicating status to stakeholders.
