Anduril is fielding the next generation of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) to tackle the extremely challenging industry demands of seabed exploration. Anduril has brought to the market a unique, ultra-long-range, full-ocean-depth platform and a completely refreshed maritime vehicle and flexible manufacturing architecture that scales from "large" to "extra-large" vehicle sizes. Today, Anduril is executing on multi-million-dollar contracts while simultaneously performing Robot-as-a-Service (RaaS) AUV operations.
As our team continues to quickly grow, we are looking for motivated candidates that are inspired to work within an extremely energetic, creative, and innovative team that is passionate about subsea robotics and exploring the open ocean. We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our commercial team, where your experience offshore will help bridge between multiple business functions (growth, engineering, and operations) to ensure smooth project execution.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO        

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute AUV survey projects by incorporating expertise from previous offshore survey roles to optimize resource allocation, scheduling, and logistics. This includes both developmental planning efforts and commercial product and service execution.
  • Represent Anduril with wide customer portfolio. You will define and report on project objectives, deliverables, and timelines while ensuring clear communication and understanding of technical aspect to our customers.
  • Own project timeline, progress, and risk identification with a critical eye. This includes budget management and internal stakeholder alignment.
  • Oversee the safe operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of AUV systems and associated survey equipment in partnership with field operations leaders and in compliance with local, federal, and customer-directed QHSE standards.
  • Understand the execution of survey plans and ensure the complete cycle of data acquisition, processing, and handover to our clients.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team comprising survey technicians, data analysts, and engineers, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
  • Travel to support customer meetings and testing approximately 30-50% of the time.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • An educational background at bachelor-degree level, ideally in systems engineering, ocean engineering, project management, relevant business/finance disciplines or equivalent experience in the subsea survey or related field.
  • Relevant professional experience of at least 5 years
  • Proven project management experience leading small teams on high value projects in a complex offshore environment.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, team-oriented with excellent analytical skills, an eye for detail, and can meet deadlines on time.
  • High level of integrity, reliability, proactiveness, and personal organization.
  • Ability to with communicate complex thoughts simply across various methods of communication and tools
  • Resourcefulness and adaptability. You should have a natural bias towards action and assume responsibility very early on in your Anduril career.
  • Based in Quincy, MA with frequent travel to project site (up to 50%).

 

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certifications or proven credentials in offshore surveying.
  • Either a current or the ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

US Salary Range

$108,000$162,000 USD

 

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
