An ideal candidate is someone who is excited to collaborate with a diverse and dedicated team.

On a given day at Lunar, you’ll likely:
- Develop program schedules, define milestones, identify risks, and clearly communicate ongoing progress through close collaboration with both the engineering and operations teams.
- Translate the top-down corporate strategy and objectives into detailed product roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables, while defining and tracking resource requirements, including headcount and budget.
- Actively drive the program by ensuring everyone is working on the right priorities, resolving key risks, unblocking progress, and escalating issues to secure additional resources or support.
- Establish and host regular technical design reviews with engineering teams and build action plans to resolve key issues identified.
- Consistently identify program risks and dependencies while working to mitigate and reduce exposure, and escalating appropriately to the executive team.
- Coordinate and support onsite prototype builds and early stage production builds at contract manufacturers while working to track and resolve issues found during the builds.
- Make decisions in order to drive progress forward, and pull in the appropriate teams to drive cross-functional decision making rapidly.
Desired Skills
- B.S/ M.S Engineering or 3-5+ years of equivalent related experience with a strong track record of shipping products, and deep knowledge of the stages of a new product development.
- Able to work onsite most working days.
- You are passionate about accelerating the adoption of renewables and improving our energy infrastructure, particularly through your ability to execute on ambitious program plans.
- You have excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) at every level of the organization internally and with key suppliers and partners.
- You are able to thrive in an ambiguous startup environment and effectively collaborate across teams and levels within an organization.
