Technical Program Manager, Game Services Team
Job Description
Bungie is seeking a Technical Program Manager with experience building large scale consumer technologies to work with our central technology services team. In this role, you will be responsible for working with Engineering, Test, and Operations disciplines to deliver online capabilities across Bungie games with a focus on the company’s core purpose: creating worlds that inspire friendship. You will work closely with stakeholders within various game franchise teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and performant solutions to support the evolving needs for each game. You will also help ensure that common technology investments that can be applied broadly across multiple games are identified, managed, and shared.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive alignment and execution on online service capabilities across multiple game projects
- Balance schedules, team health, budgets, and resource requirements to meet business goals
- Build, maintain, and communicate product roadmaps and stakeholder updates in support of immediate and long-term requirements
- Foster a strong working partnership with internal game, operations, and technology teams
- Manage and flag risks, and establish mitigations
- Engage with external partners to explore, integrate, and operate technology solutions
- Leverage industry knowledge and learnings to build and maintain a broad understanding of live services strategies, tools, and best practices at Bungie
- Ensure security, privacy, and legal policies are followed in accordance with company guidelines
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Prior experience working with engineering teams on large-scale consumer technologies
- Experience working in a Technical Production, Technical Program Management, or equivalent technical project leadership capacity
- Ability to drive complex technical problem solving and decision-making
- Experience managing agile projects, coordinating the work and rituals for a multi-disciplinary team
- Exemplary communication and collaboration skills: aligning with partners and customers across multiple teams, representing the technical and experiential requirements for the products within your programs
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
- Professional, educational, or hobbyist background in technology
- Familiarity with DevOps / service operations practices in a live service environment
- Experience with large-scale software development life cycles or a concept-to-live game production cycle

- 20 days of accrued time-off in the form of PTO and sabbatical days, depending on the level of the position
