Your impact
As the Technical Program Manager for Grammarly Business, you will have the opportunity to drive tremendous growth in a critical area for the company. Grammarly is uniquely positioned to continue defining the digital-writing-assistant category, but this comes with significant challenges. Our teams build lightweight, intuitive user experiences for end users, teams, managers, and admins atop an increasingly powerful AI backend. Finding the right balance of delivering value to our customers and driving growth in lockstep with our go-to-market stakeholders across a rapidly growing team demands high-level thought leadership and smooth processes.
In this role, you will:
  • Work through ambiguity while leading large, cross-functional, cross-geo software-engineering projects at Grammarly.
  • Identify opportunities, requirements, and risks associated with B2B SaaS programs; define milestones and success criteria; and manage schedules.
  • Effectively communicate the above to the team, to leadership, and to go-to-market stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain Eng+Product+Design+Go-to-Market collaboration frameworks and processes.
  • Develop and maintain scalable processes and assist with resource allocation.
  • Ensure priorities are aligned across all relevant teams and take steps to remove roadblocks to this alignment.
  • Take a holistic view across the greater product organization, identifying opportunities to improve alignment or reduce redundancies.
  • Exercise technical judgment in evaluating projects and their potential solutions.

We're looking for someone who
  • Embodies our EAGER values-is ethical, adaptable, gritty, empathetic, and remarkable.
  • Is able to collaborate in person 2 weeks per quarter, traveling if necessary to the hub where the team is based.
  • Has at least six years of professional work experience as a program / technical program manager with customer-facing products, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Is driven to proactively identify issues, risks, and opportunities.
  • Is able to organize other people to reach a shared goal.
  • Is a creative problem-solver, able to break down complex problems into manageable components.
  • Applies their technical expertise to care about the details without losing sight of the bigger picture.
  • Communicates effectively with their peers, executives, and independent contributors.
  • Has experience working across product, engineering, and business teams and can translate the technical to nontechnical stakeholders and vice versa.
