About the Role:
Tubi’s Product Organization is hiring a Technical Program Manager to support organizational data privacy programs. This key role involves developing, leading, and maintaining comprehensive data privacy programs and product features that comply with global data privacy laws and regulations, such as the Video Privacy Protection Act (VPPA), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and other pertinent regulations. As a Technical Program Manager at Tubi, you will support other programmatic areas as needed, including leading engineering and product team planning and prioritization meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for data privacy initiatives, including the creation of new product features that respect and promote data privacy in compliance with VPPA, CCPA, GDPR, CPRA, COPPA, and other relevant regulations
- Promote and ensure adherence to data privacy best practices and compliance with VPPA, CCPA, GDPR, CPRA, COPPA, and other relevant regulations across all company divisions
- Execute all data subject rights requests; primary point of contact for Tubi's privacy-related rights requests (Data Subject Access Requests through OneTrust/Ketch and Customer Support's privacy requests), including maintaining metrics and legally-mandated policies and procedures
- Investigate all CPRA business-to-business (b2b) data rights requests; gather data as needed; and respond to requests with an appropriate response within the legally-mandated time frame
- Support product managers on privacy and other compliance-related initiatives, including organizing, tracking, and prioritizing work items to ensure the team delivers on its milestones
- Monitor and assess changes in global data privacy laws and regulations. Interpret these changes and lead the implementation of necessary adjustments to our products and procedures
- Serve as a subject matter expert on data privacy, providing guidance and advice to internal stakeholders on a wide array of privacy-related matters, including VPPA, CCPA, GDPR, CPRA, COPPA, and other relevant regulations
- Regularly report on the progress of data privacy initiatives to senior management and key stakeholders
- Organize and lead product and engineering sprint planning, prioritization, and backlog grooming meetings
- Lead other programs outside of privacy & compliance as needed by Tubi, at the direction of Tubi's head of PMOÂ
Background:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in program management, with at least 2 years focusing on data privacy
- Expert understanding of global data privacy laws and regulations, such as VPPA, CCPA, GDPR, CPRA, COPPA, and the know-how to implement them in a digital environment
- Ability to think strategically and manage multiple projects with competing priorities and strict deadlines
- Strong technical comprehension of data systems, structures, and security principles
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the capability to translate intricate technical concepts into clear, non-technical language
- A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving environment
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex, large-scale technical projects
- Ability to build meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders through proactive communication and building trust
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Aptitude for developing a narrative, tailoring it to your audience, establishing credibility, and influencing stakeholders to prioritize impactful business initiatives
- Experience with executing data subject rights requests in third-party platforms like OneTrust and Ketch

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is listed annually below. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, long term incentive plan, and various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
