Position Summary:
The Technical Program Manager for Samsung KNOX will be a highly motivated individual who has a strong technical background in program management. The ideal candidate should be able to manage complex technology projects with aggressive schedules, deliver the projects on time. This includes figuring out innovative processes for efficiently planning, implementing, and delivering KNOX projects. The candidate possesses strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and an ability to influence business and technical leaders to contribute continue success to Samsung KNOX. The candidate should be passionate about the projects and delivering quality products in timely manner.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Work with Samsung's global teams to ensure that technology integration projects are delivered as per the requirements with high quality and on time.
- Identify stakeholders by collaborating with cross-functional teams (product management, software engineering, executives) across multiple geographies (US, Korea, India).
- Using effective project/program management techniques to work closely with stakeholders to define scope, goals and deliverables in alignment with Samsung business goals.

- Own end-to-end project delivery with a focus of on-time and high quality. Define and track project deliverables by working closely with stakeholders.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify risks, issues and contingency plans.
- Communicate status and dashboards on a regular basis with the stakeholders on structured status report and presentation slides.
- Correctly represent the urgency of issues and escalate issues appropriately.
- Lead and drive process change and improvement.
- Develop and manage program schedules, milestones and deliverables.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelors in Computer Science or higher or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- 7+ years’ professional experience in software engineering program and project managementÂ
- Demonstrated experience working with technology partners (of all sizes), to deliver projects involving multiple team
- Demonstrated experience in shipping consumer and/or enterprise solutions
- Experience with Mobility products is strongly desired, especially understanding of Android stack such as Kernel, Android Framework, Security Enhanced for Android, and Application layer
- Knowledgeable in managing security vulnerability assessments
- Full understanding of how to manage end to end product lifecycle, from idea inception through development and launch
- Good writing skills
- Ability to generate professional presentation slides and documentations
- Demonstrated experience simultaneously working on multiple projects with multiple partners
- Demonstrated experience communicating effectively across organizational structures and multiple management levels
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities
- Ability to successfully facilitate collaboration across multiple functions, departments and levels and serve as a role model for teamwork
- This position will contribute to Samsung’s R&D efforts by creating high-value products that address unmet enterprise market needs
Our total rewards programs are designed to motivate and engage exceptional talent. The base pay range for roles at this level is $135,800 and $186,650, but may be higher or lower in other states due to geographic differentials in the labor market. Within the base pay range, individual rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education and training. This is part of our comprehensive compensation package with annual bonus eligibility and generous benefits to help you live life well.
