Technical Program Manager, New Hire Orientation

Minimum qualifications:

• Experience with Technical Program Management on cross-functional projects.
• Experience in influencing, shaping strategy in operational excellence and stakeholder management through communications and branding.
• Experience in data collection and analysis.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in available tech stacks, solving operational requirements.
• Experience in designing or delivering technical curriculum.
• Experience with Go, Spanner, or SQL.
• Ability to use data analysis to drive recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

In this role, you will combine your skills in software engineering, program management, and education to create and support onboarding programs for Google's talent.

You will work with tools/platform and metric/evaluation workstreams building tools and reporting using production Google code (e.g., Go, Spanner, Borg, Plx).
