Position Overview: 
This role reports Customer Success Director, Public Sector and interfaces with the Customer Success and Product teams. You will be the center of our customer implementations, working with customers to define business logic and product specifications, while also organizing the MD Clarity team around project requirements. The Technical Program Manager is expected to think product-first, bridging the gap between federal-level healthcare policy requirements, operational requirements, and our product's capabilities.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Product and Customer Success teams to engage client stakeholders and define project requirements 
  • Work closely with project manager during all phases of the design and implementation lifecycle to review work produced by the Engineering and Product teams, report results, and adjust requirements as needed
  • Manage projects as the key point of contact to ensure timely delivery of high-quality deliverables
  • Understand our product at the technical level in order to communicate our needs effectively to external stakeholders and troubleshoot issues during implementation
  • Become an expert in healthcare data standards
  • Define new features or enhancements identified by customers to improve the product
  • Interpreting federal-level healthcare policy changes and the impact on our product initiatives
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to translate feedback from a variety of stakeholders into actionable plans
  • Organization, to manage complex projects while maintaining attention to detail
  • Intellectual curiosity, to seek out answers until a topic is fully comprehended
  • Accountability, to make sure projects are completed in time and are of high quality. 
  • Experience with relational databases and data-driven systems
  • Experience with large datasets and detail orientation.
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Working knowledge of an object-oriented language such as C# or Java
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a highly quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, etc.) or equivalent experience (Advanced Degree preferred)
  • 5+ years’ experience managing complex technical projects
  • 5+ Experience working for a federal agency or as a government contractor
  • Bonus: prior healthcare domain experience
