ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a technical program manager to help us build and look after the software that our members and instructors use in our New York and London fitness studios.Ā You will build warm and strong relationships across the organization working not only with our Software team but also with our Studio production team, ensuring our member and instructor experience continues to be world-class.Ā As the Technical Program Manager, you will be primarily responsible for program delivery and team health for our Studio team. You will support them defining program plans, high-level goals and roadmaps, monitoring and communicating progress.Ā 

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTONĀ 

  • Be the glue that helps the team get things done including applying agile best practices, develop and manage end-to-end program plans, provide day-to-day coordination, and stakeholder managementĀ 
  • Build close knit relationships with not only our software team members but our content production partners too, working with them to understand their needs from the softwareĀ 
  • Create roadmaps with development teams that outline feature scope and implementation plans
  • Facilitate the day to day activities for the team - this includes activities like stand-ups, backlog refinement, sizing and retrospectivesĀ 
  • Regular reporting on program status, identifying dependencies and developing risk mitigation strategiesĀ 

YOU BRING TO PELOTONĀ 

  • 3+ years technical program management in the product space (bonus if you have familiarity with content production)Ā 
  • Excited to collaborate with the team face-to-face 3 times a week in our NYHQ office and studio - all team members are all hands-on and we expect you to be too!Ā 
  • Awareness and participated in teams that use Agile frameworks, including managing execution, backlogs and facilitating meaningful retrosĀ 
  • Ability to build out and manage end to end project plans including release planning across stakeholdersĀ 
  • Appreciation for building a warm and supportive team culture - understanding the emotional and business dynamics that impact the team health and how to handle themĀ 
  • Understand how to best leverage tools that promote collaboration as part of software delivery including JIRA, Asana and whiteboard tools like Miro/MuralĀ 
  • Knowing how to tailor your written and verbal communication based on audienceĀ 
  • Ability to mediate between competing product and technical priorities; align priorities and goals through collaboration with Technical Leads and Product Managers.

Base Salary: $136,300.00 to $177,300.00

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
