Technical Program Manager, Test and Reliability
TPM - Test and Reliability is a role instrumental in supporting and executing program activities for various products including initial bring up testing, environmental, durability and long term reliability resting as well as failure analysis. This will require extremely close collaboration with engineering, supply chain, and external partners. TPM - Test and Reliability is a role instrumental at aligning diverse, global teams through a mix of leadership, engineering knowledge, and exceptional communications. An ideal candidate is someone who is excited to collaborate with a diverse and dedicated team.
Responsibilities
- Develop program schedules, define milestones, identify risks, and clearly communicate ongoing progress through close collaboration with the engineering development, reliability and test teams.
- Clearly identify program milestones and work with operations teams about CM engagement around test fixture validation and deployment activities.
- Work with cross functional teams to create test equipment/ test fixture validation road maps, timelines, and deliverables, while defining and tracking resource requirements, including headcount and budget.
- Work with cross functional teams to drive and provide electrical and firmware test requirements to in house equipment developers.
- Actively drive the program by ensuring everyone is working on the right priorities, resolving key risks, unblocking progress, and escalating issues to secure additional resources or support.
- You will be the central point of contact for all validation plans and status across all test and reliability initiatives.
- Drive conversations and issues to closures by defining follow-up action and ensuring clear task ownership.
- Coordinate the ordering, shipment and delivery of prototype validation builds while tracking build to build variations and the downstream effects test and reliability activities.
- Effectively and efficiently provide regular communications to key stakeholders on program status, risks, and accomplishments.
Desired Skills:
- 3-5+ years of related experience with a strong track record of shipping products, and deep knowledge of the stages of a new product development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills at every level of the organization internally and with key suppliers and partners.
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous startup environment and effectively collaborate across teams and levels within an organization.
- Ability to lead technical teams and drive in depth brainstorming/ problem solving sessions by hosting effective meetings with a clear agenda and follow through with action items and notes.
- Ability to work on site most working days.

Our Compensation Philosophy: Our goal is to ensure that all Lunar Energy employees are fairly compensated. Please note that the salary range information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position provided pursuant to the Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act for California applicants. The salary range estimate for this position depending on level of experience is: $130k - $170k USD.
The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package & benefits, will be at the company’s sole discretion, and determined by factors including but not limited to years of experience, job level, geographic location, and other relevant business considerations.
