Technical Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong background in fintech, excellent communication skills, and a passion for learning new technologies. This role will involve managing complex, cross-functional projects within our technology team to ensure successful delivery of solutions that drive our business forward. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator, can quickly adapt to new tools and processes, and has a deep understanding of the fintech industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop, manage, and execute project plans, including scope, budget, timelines, resources, and deliverables to meet business objectives.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams, business stakeholders, and clients. Clearly communicate project status, milestones, and risks.
- Fintech Domain Expertise: Leverage your understanding of the fintech industry to guide project decisions, anticipate challenges, and align solutions with industry standards and trends.
- Resource Management: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure appropriate allocation of resources for successful project execution.
- Risk Management: Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks proactively to ensure smooth project progress and to avoid potential roadblocks.
- Learning & Adaptability: Quickly learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and industry developments to enhance project outcomes and support team needs.
- Agile Methodologies: Lead projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies, ensuring proper sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to keep teams aligned and productive.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed project documentation and generate reports on project status, metrics, and post-project evaluations for stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in technical project management, with at least 1-2 years in the fintech industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of software development, cloud infrastructure, and emerging fintech technologies.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Fintech Knowledge: Familiarity with fintech technologies, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
- Adaptability and Quick Learning: Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new tools, processes, and technologies swiftly.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical thinking, with a proactive approach to solving project-related challenges.
- Agile/Scrum Proficiency: Practical knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and Scrum best practices.
- Attention to Detail: High level of detail orientation to ensure all aspects of projects are accounted for and managed effectively.
- Familiar with API integration,CI/CD pipeline , Deployments and monitoring and GitHub.
