Array is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our team to lead our squads on the development and rollout of important engineering work. You will report to the Technical Program Director. As a Technical Project Manager, you'll work with multiple team members at different levels of the organization to manage technology projects. You will also be foundational; you will help define the role of Project Management at Array and help shape related procedures.

Department Defining Activities:

  • Recommend improvements to established business processes while continuing to deliver high value in execution
  • Solidify the project team as the main communicator for pProject progress and details
  • Define project department's role-type
  • Given project management's role type, build more mature PM processes where needed

You Will:

  • Be the Agile coach/consultant to help empower delivery teams to be successful in their work
  • Monitor performance metrics to understand where roadblocks or bottlenecks exist for delivery teams to empower them to implement changes to help them be successful
  • Manage multiple concurrent complex projects
  • Work with important partners to develop a clear understanding of a business need, define the project goals, and ensure understanding of strategic goals
  • Work with delivery team on deliverable tracking and impediments/delays
  • Apply project management tools/techniques
  • Guide project-related change management
  • Manage multiple partners, aligning on common goals and communicating risks; run meetings
  • Maintain project plans, identify resource needs, and manage project schedule
  • Build relationships of trust throughout the company and organizations; collaborate across teams to define strategy, goals and commitment to timelines
  • Anticipate the needs, risks, and challenges of your projects
  • Develop creative and practical solutions based on evaluation of multiple factors
  • Deliver value by leading project teams and by creating collaboration with team members, partners, and other Project Managers
  • Drive projects forward amid stalling forces

You Have

  • 3+ years of experience managing complex project simultaneously (either IT infrastructure, application development, business process, etc) through teams working within a software development environment or hardware implementation cycle
  • 3+ years of experience managing multiple concurrent projects with diverse working groups with an eye toward project dependencies
  • 5+ years of experience in project/program management, requirements definition and/or deployment of business requirements to information systems
  • Agile methodology knowledge and practice
  • Working knowledge of the components of the software release process, including issues of development, documentation, and quality assurance
  • Ability to adapt and identify/lead definition in areas of change
  • Predict challenges and head-off obstacles
  • Meet delivery timelines
