Technical Project Manager

Note: This is 1099 contract role and candidates must be located in EST timezone. We do not hire C2C.

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Project Manager with experience owning, managing, and delivering world-class experiences for clients in the Fortune 500. The ideal applicant has an appreciation for human-centered design, Artificial Intelligence and working with cross-functional teams in an Agile fashion. Responsibilities

• Act as the communication layer between our client and our internal strategy, design, and technology teams
• Manage client expectations to ensure that things get delivered on time, on budget, and in a feasible fashion
• Balance the long-term vision with the tactical deliverables agreed upon with the client
• Analyze, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects
• Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all subordinates are actively working toward established milestones
• Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
• Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives
• Research and evaluate hardware and software technology options and weigh the cost/benefit analysis when making large purchases on behalf of the company

Required Experience

• 5-8 years successfully managing and delivering projects for large organizations while coordinating teams with a diverse suite of skills
• Strong organizational skills to bring multi players/teams together.
• Clear communicator and facilitator
• Bridge between business teams and technical teams as well as between technical teams
• Experienced with large scale data migration
• AWS toolkit experience
• Good understanding of databases for financials, billing, and customer service
• An uncanny ability to understand a project at its component level and manage priorities in a dynamic environment
• Experience presenting to executive leadership
• Broad knowledge of emerging technologies, but are specifically interested in Artificial Intelligence
• Excitement for learning and overcoming challenges
• Ability to level-set trust with teams that want to work with you
