Summary:
Apiture has a need for an energetic communicator to lead and manage software development projects as a Technical Project Manager. You will ensure software development projects are completed to specification, within an established time frame and budget. You will also work as a central point of contact between development, product, and support teams.
Location (Wilmington, NC, Austin, TX, Remote):
We have offices in Wilmington, NC and Austin, TX and while some positions need to be office based, we will consider remote candidates depending on their time zone.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multi discipline projects to ensure adherence to schedule and scope.
- Proactively monitor project risks and provide regular updates and mitigation strategies to stakeholders.
- Serves as Scrum Master for multiple software development teams, bridging the gap between product and engineering.
- Employs working knowledge of agile methodologies, techniques, and frameworks.
- Refine JIRA workflows and processes to streamline efficiencies.
- Focus on incremental delivery and understanding of Agile, Design and DevOps principles.
- Forecast and construct metrics that can be presented to leadership team.
- Champion continuous improvement activities to reduce waste and increase productivity; coach organization to conduct continuous improvement events.
- Develop and conduct scrum training for new team members and stakeholders.

Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in a technical/business field (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience).
- 2+ years of industry experience in Project Management OR Scrum.
Preferences:
- Certifications within Project Management or Scrum.
- Outstanding management, follow-through, resourcefulness, and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with working in software development environment centered around Online Banking.
- Aha! Experience.
