Job Description

Siemens Real Estate (SRE) is responsible for the professional management of Siemens real estate portfolio worldwide. SRE manages the real estate portfolio, operates the properties, and performs construction projects and the purchase and sales of real estate assets. SRE thus ensures optimized and sustainable use of resources. This includes the transformation of the global Siemens Real Estate portfolio to carbon neutrality operation till 2030.

To perform comprehensive Decarbonization Projects on major office and industrial locations we search for a Technical Project Manager leading planning, execution and commissioning decarbonization projects. We make real what matters.

This is your role.

  • You build up the project team embedding internal and external service provider and lead the project team during the entire project duration.
  • You are responsible for efficient project execution and targets achievements. You ensure compliance with the required quality, timely completing and time/cost efficiency.
  • You report regularly on project status and progress to management stakeholder and the Siemens Real Estate decarbonization program management.
  • Together with the team you optimize technical solutions. Especially in the areas of energy supply, energy efficiency, heat generation and distribution, heat pump technology and on-site power generation.
  • You use standardized project management methods and tools to ensure continuous progress and monitoring of project tasks. Conducting regular project routines and ensuring proper documentation are also part of daily project tasks.
  • You lead the project team and motivate team members continuously. You solve conflicts within the team and the extended project environment.

Use your skills to move the world forward.

  • You have a mechanical or electrical engineering degree or a comparable technical education.
  • You are familiar with construction projects in existing building stock with experience in planning, implementation, and commissioning.
  • +10 years of related experience.
  • Ideally, you have general knowledge in construction management and focus skills on heat supply technologies, cooling and air conditioning, energy efficiency measures, building automation.
  • You are experienced in project management, and you are familiar with project management tools.
  • You know essential building codes and you are experienced in dealing with planning and construction contracts.
  • You enabled to lead projects by your strong leadership skills. As a member of the Real Estate Decarbonization Program Team advanced teamwork ability and communication skills are expected.
  • Written and spoken English and skilled use of standard office IT and communication applications are required.
  • Travel requirement approx. 40%
