As a Technical Project Manager, you will be joining a passionate, friendly, collaborative, and driven team. We use an agile methodology in the way that we work together and on our cloud-based application. To be successful in this role, you must be passionate about building an application that is extraordinary while working in an often ambiguous and ever-evolving business. In your role, you will help us prioritize and organize projects to build business value and satisfy our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in Product, Engineering and IT, Service Delivery, and Customer Success. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and a deep understanding of integration with DMS platforms with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and drive projects to completion.

Requirements

What You Will Be Doing

The Technical Project Manager will report directly to the VP of Product in the Product Team. The Product Team is responsible for product planning, execution, and enhancements by gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, operations, and sales teams to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. As a Technical Project Manager, your natural curiosity will drive you to uncover technical problems and will require the use of your abilities to find optimal solutions and facilitate regular communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Drive projects to completion using agile techniques.
  • Lead new features and integrations pilots (Alpha, Beta) with client customers.
  • Understand Automotive fixed operations ecosystems and integrations.

What You Need for this Position

  • Ability to analyze project blockers to progress and coordinate quick resolution using your technical acumen and soft skills.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Technical Project Management preferably in an Automotive Fixed Ops software  environment (integrating with CDK, DealerTrack, Reynolds).
  • Understanding of technical integrations and network security protocols (SSO, MFA, VPN) to lead technical integration project.
  • Strong team tasks organizing skills.
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence or other agile content management.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are a highly effective communicator with the ability to lead seamlessly across different teams.
  • A passion for completing projects.
  • Experience with Discovery, Definition, and quick iteration in an Agile environment.
  • Leading pre-production user trials in Alpha and Beta stage.
  • Understanding Application Programming Interfaces.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in automotive warranty or dealer management systems  (preferred).
  • Experience in Customer Relationship Management systems.
  • Led multidisciplinary teams.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum, or equivalent certification,
