The Opportunity
Our Front-End Development team, embedded into our Technology department, is responsible for the consumer's first impression for all-things Suited Connector. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the support, development, and functionality of our public facing websites and internal applications. You will be working on various mission critical projects that support our lightning fast, dynamic, and growing business. Your expertise translating functional requirements into technical requirements and with Javascript and User Interface (UI) development will bring breathtaking designs and experiences to life, ultimately helping the SuCo engine scale.
Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical requirements so they can be acted on by developers both on and off-shore. This may include pulling requests, code reviews, iterations of defects, etc.
• Be the primary owner of our internal proprietary toolkit environment where you will be responsible for adding new features, functionality, testing, and deployment
• Work directly with our PMO to manage JIRA stories & tasks, communicating features and functionality with our product teams, and coordinating design and reviews with various other departments
• Establish better unit/dev testing and foster relationships between the Front-End team and QA to improve our deployment processes
• Initial projects may include full-stack functionality, with an understanding APIs and databases, Data APIs, and how they interact with Front-End applications
• Coordinate release efforts between Product, Dev, Project Management and QA with the support of our overseas team
• Proactively identify potential code issues and resolve with the appropriate internal team

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience developing complex User Interface (UI) applications with contemporary front-end technology stacks, ideally in a fast-paced, Agile project methodology
• Passionate about technology and learning new tools and new ways to utilize these tools with a proven ability to translate business needs into functional requirements
• Hands-on, demonstrated experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, APIs, and REST
• Strong understanding of Vanilla Javascript and experience with Javascript Unit Testing frameworks (running & writing tests)
• Experience architecting Single Page Applications (SPAs) using common design patterns and an understanding of the Server/Client Model

Preferred Skills

• Have a knack for understanding human behavior and can translate these behaviors into developed solutions
• Experience with front-end build tools like NPM, webpack, etc.
• Experience with web frameworks like React/Redux, GatsbyJS, NextJS, etc.
• Web development accessibility experience through standards like the American Disability Act (ADA)
• Knowledge and experience with GraphQL, TypeScript, Node.js, SQl Relational Databases, and UI Component Frameworks

Employment Information

• Preferred Location: Denver, CO
• Base Salary Range: i.e. $75,000 to $95,000
• Competitive bonus in addition to base salary compensation
• Hybrid work schedule for Colorado team members
• Status: Full-Time, Salaried Exempt
