The Marketing Operations team is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join their team in LA. The right candidate will be confident managing a high demand of development needs across a variety of internal business systems and 3rd-party integrations.  They will posses a passion for problem solving, understanding that new features are only part of a team’s tool kit.  They will partner with the development team and stakeholders to manage the delivery of business solutions through the software development life cycle.

The Work

• Maintain initiative roadmaps with Marketing Ops Dir. and Development Mgr.
• Organize epics, prioritize feature requests, and manage backlog grooming
• Facilitate product meetings and balance feature delivery across products
• Assure stories are actionable prior to Sprint Planning and estimation
• Establish, maintain and report against velocity of developers
• Create and socialize mockups and iterate feedback accordingly
• Translate stories to proper format for easy digesting / estimating / testing
• QA completed features prior to deployment, seek approval from Product Owners
• Manage change log and releases with stakeholders, and internal support teams
• Create documentation/collateral for products prior to launch
• Assist in global training sessions and office hours
• Act as first responder for product support tickets

Responsibilities

• Versed in SDLC methodologies and Scrum framework
• Proficient with Atlassian, Jira, and Confluence
• Familiar with MoSCoW methodology, MVP
• Working knowledge of UX design tools a plus: Miro, Sketch
• Detail oriented and ability to organize multiple tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Can communicate with technical and non-technical employees
• Strong problem solving and inter-personal skills
• Previous experience with Project, Resource, and Finance systems a plus
