We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager with experience in a software company setting to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing various technical projects, ensuring efficient resource planning, and leading cross-team coordination and communication. The successful candidate will have a strong background in both project and people management and will be adept at driving projects to successful completion.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of technical projects within a software company setting.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budget estimations, and resource allocation strategies.
- Facilitate cross-team coordination and communication to ensure all stakeholders are informed of project status, changes, and updates.
- Conduct project reviews and create detailed reports for upper management.
- Manage career paths of team members, including performance reviews, promotions, and succession planning.
- Identify potential risks or issues within the project and propose effective solutions.
- Ensure all project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and meet high-quality standards.
- Foster a positive work environment and encourage team collaboration.
This role includes supervising the Operations team of 9 staff members, with the following responsibilities:
- Managing team workflow.
- Training new hires.
- Creating and managing team schedules.
- Reporting to HR and senior management.
- Evaluating performance and providing feedback.
- Identifying and applying career advancement opportunities.
- Helping to resolve employee issues and disputes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management and people management in a software company.
- Strong knowledge of technical project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions.
- Proficient in project management software tools and familiar with various software development methodologies.
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification is preferred.
