Technical Project Manager
Job Description
Location: Richmond, VA
Position Type: Remote,Β occasional onsite team meetings (with advanced notice).
Contract Length: 12 months
Position Overview:
The Project Manager must have a PMP certification and will lead technical enterprise system projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder needs. This role requires experience with enterprise systems like PeopleSoft, along with agile project management expertise.
Duties:
- Collaborate with System Office IT staff, system owners, and college personnel to understand and address project requirements.
- Plan, execute, and oversee project deliverables to meet defined objectives and timelines.
- Coordinate project timelines and manage resource allocation effectively.
- Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and progress.
- Lead steering committee meetings and provide regular project updates to stakeholders.
- Monitor and mitigate risks to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Drive the successful implementation of initiatives while adhering to organizational goals and priorities.
Required Skills:
- 6 years of experience with Agile methodology
- 5 years of Project Management experience leading PeopleSoft HCM (version 9.2)
- 6 years of experience leading PeopleSoft HCM or other ERP projects
- Active PMP Certification
