We currently have a need for a Project Manager to manage Unified Communications integration and implementation projects. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years of relevant Voice Project Management experience. Global Financial Services, Healthcare or Pharmaceutical experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple voice projects that involve significant technical and/or business complexity and communication, with significant collaboration and conflict resolution across the diverse organization.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Drive definition and closure of project requirements, project plans/schedules, and resource needs.
- Actively manage project risk, provide consistent project status and progress against objectives at all levels within the corporation.
- Developed metrics to evaluate progress and client service levels.
- Utilize Microsoft Project to house process steps, timing, roles, responsibilities, scope, and costs.
- Manage project costs including estimating and forecasting project funding, make reallocation decisions as needed, and stay within the project budget.
- Manage multiple voice projects that involve significant technical and/or business complexity and communication, with significant collaboration and conflict resolution across the diverse organization.
- Effective cross-location collaboration and management is essential to success in this position. Demonstrated ability to lead and execute with and between nationally based locations is imperative.
- Effective interaction and communication within all levels of the Organization, Design and Run weekly product team meetings and drive your teams to deliver projects on schedule and on budget.
Skills required:
- PMP or equivalent certifications desired
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related discipline
- 5-7 years successfully leading complex voice projects in global networking environments.
- Technical background in Voice technologies (Unified Communications, SIP, PRI, Circuits, ACD’s, Voicemail)
- Experience with Avaya and/or Cisco Call Manager/Unified Communications Manager
- Expert Knowledge of Cisco IP telephony and UCC Call Center technologies and solutions
- Experience in the administration and support of Cisco’s UC portfolio including but not limited to CUCM, CUC, Unity, UCCE, CUPS, VG, CUBE, CER, and CVP
- Knowledge of Session Border Controller (SBC) principles for SIP integration with Cisco Call Manager (CM) voice over internet protocol (VoIP) and contact center technologies (Automatic Call Distribution (ACD), Interactive Voice Response (IVR) Outbound Dialer.
- Experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) call distribution functions and inbound/outbound routing with SIP trunking through Cisco Session Manager Edition (SME)
- Hands-on cross-functional team leadership experience, including customer-facing.
- Excellent leadership, management, communication, influencing, negotiation, conflict resolution, team building and problem-solving skills.
This position is onsite in Long Island, NY 5 days per week and pays a salary of $130k - $140k.
