Technical Project Manager, Enterprise Justice
Job Description
The Technical Project Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing on system deployments of Tyler Cloud software and hardware. In addition, working with Sales in responding to, confirming system requirements and proposing SaaS solutions for new opportunities via RFP, RFQ, etc. This position combines project management, administrative, technical and organizational skills to coordinate the analysis, quoting, delivery, installation and deployment of Tyler's SaaS solutions. The Technical Project Manager maintains close communication and relationships with all other business units within the division and possibly with other Tyler divisions.
Responsibilities
- Guide and influence technical resources to complete customer tasks and projects.
- Work with the Tyler business units to become familiar with contract requirements, application architecture, performance requirements, support requirements, program modifications, build requirements, schedules, and special considerations.
- Become familiar with business requirements, support team contacts and other application-specific background information.
- Understand regulatory, PCI, and other compliance requirements. Work with sales in RFP, RFQ, etc. responses.
- Conduct planning sessions with Tyler Hosting leadership and analysts to create plans for installs, upgrades and migrations in the hosted environments.
- Develop and execute project plans to maintain the scope, schedule and all stakeholders' responsibilities for various and simultaneous projects and initiatives.
- Monitor and have the ability to report on progress of projects to ensure compliance with the project plan and effectively communicate to stakeholders.
- Obtain regular feedback from business contacts regarding project status and quality of service and take immediate corrective action as required.
- Participate in troubleshooting and outage scenarios and provide technical support and feedback to resolve issues.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field, or comparable work experience.
- Preferred AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification or above
- Preferred three to five years' general IT Administrator experience
- Preferred PMP certified.
- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast paced, technical environment.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive, professional attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as good listening skills.
- Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and persuasion skills.
