Technical Project Manager - Global Product Security

As a Technical Project Manager - Global Product Security supporting Research and Development, you will be trusted to work on medical digital solutions, software for medical devices, and software and hardware products that support medical devices.

We are looking for passionate individuals who enjoy working within a cross-functional Global R&D product development environment and have experience in handling and implementing complex and global program/project(s). In addition, this role supports ongoing continuous improvement efforts for the product security incident program and initiatives. In this role, a typical day will include:

• Develop and manage overall product security program and related initiatives from planning, tracking, and driving deliverables.
• Prepare product security dashboard and communicate with relevant project leads/heads, project managers, product security team, and other internal stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve product security technical challenges, blockers, and issues.
• Coordinate and collaborate with onsite, offshore, and vendor resources for successful execution of product security projects' delivery.
• Conduct/organize daily/weekly product security scrum meetings.
• Communicate, escalate, and resolve product security issues, risks, and action items to product security leadership and other stakeholders.
• Manage product security pipeline demands including customer, regulatory, product requests and ensure efficient resource and project allocations.
• Collaborate with Alcon portfolio/project management team and support execution of security deliverables, including alignment with project timelines, deliverables, etc.
• Manage and support strategic partners and vendors to support product security initiatives, including contracts, onboarding, and ongoing monitoring of security activities.
• Manage changes to product pipeline, scope, timeline and alignment with the overall product roadmaps and strategy.
• Streamline and automate the product security program aspects using tools/technologies.
• Support and contribute to product security governance management, including product security operations, metrics, security reporting, supervising SLAs.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs; PhD+0 yrs)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• 7+ Years of Relevant Experience in program management and leading complex products/projects,
• Basic understanding of product/software development, security life cycle, and related regulations
• Experience with technical project management, change, and problem management
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with global teams.
• Basic knowledge in product security/cybersecurity concepts, technologies, tools, etc.,
