Job Brief:

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of strategic programs on time, within budget, and of high quality in an agile international environment. They will be responsible for the program execution throughout the entire program lifecycle.

Essential Function and Responsibilities:  

• Partner with Engineering, Product Management, Business, Operations, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of technology projects. 
• Ensure project goals and objectives are clearly defined and well communicated to all stakeholders. 
• Get and keep stakeholder buy-in throughout the project.  
• Continuously engage stakeholders and build relationships that will help achieve project success. 
• Lead cross-functional engineering teams in translating project requirements into actionable project plans.
• Take a Scrum Master role for engineering teams, when necessary, until the teams become self-managed. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and be a true leader who supports the team in removing impediments and acquiring necessary resources day-to-day. Assist the Product Owner in refining and maintaining Product Backlog.  
• Closely manage project dependencies and risks with the help of engineering teams and stakeholders. 
• Proactively communicate project status to the Steering Committee and other stakeholders according to project needs. 
• Continuously strive for process optimization in all organizational domains. 

Technical Requirements: 

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the web technology area as a Technical Project Manager, Technical Analyst, or a related role combining technical depth and organizational skills 
• An IT background in the fields of computer science or business information systems desired  
• Proven record of successful delivery of multiple technology projects in an international agile environment from initiation to closing
• In-depth technical project management knowledge (initiation, planning, risk management, quality management, etc.)
• Experience with different project management methodologies (agile, waterfall, hybrid)
• Hands-on experience and a very good understanding of technology in general, specifically cloud/web technology
• CSM or PSM II or PMI-ACP certification is required
• PMP certification is a great plus
• Expert knowledge of Jira and Confluence desired
• Experience in Omni-channel Commerce & Retail and SaaS space desired 

Compensation:

The base salary for this role is $100,000-125,000. Please note that our salary ranges are based on current market data and the offered compensation may vary based on experience, skills, location, and other factors permitted by law.
