Project Manager - Test Systems and IT

Project Managers  at Lunar Energy will require extremely close collaboration with numerous engineering internal departments and external partners. They are instrumental at aligning diverse, global teams through a mix of leadership, engineering knowledge, and exceptional communications. On a given day at Lunar, you’ll likely…

  • Manage the day-to-day Test department and IT infrastructure and applications project deliveries
  • Translate the top-down corporate strategy and objectives into detailed project roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables, while defining and tracking resource requirements
  • Develop program schedules, define milestones, identify risks, and clearly communicate ongoing progress through close collaboration with both the engineering and operations teams.
  • Establish and host regular reviews with engineering teams and build action plans to resolve key issues identified.

Provide regular and up-to-date status reports to stakeholders

  • Sustain the projects after completion by implementing maintenance and upgrade plans
  • Consistently identify risks and dependencies while working to mitigate and reduce exposure, and escalating appropriately.
  • Maintain supplier relationships
  • Create project budgets and re-allocating resources
  • Manage InfoSec plans and ongoing reporting
  • Develop a renewal and upgrade schedule for company wide software and hardware
  • Running Vendor management process to ensure best pricing and support as well as vendor security
  • Manage all CM related IT projects and collaborate with their teams
  • Support the Test department on proper process enforcement on numerous equipment build outs.


Desired Skills:

  • BS or MS degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience
  • 3-5+ years of related experience with a strong track record of managing numerous projects
  • Excellent communication skills at every level of the organization internally and with key suppliers and partners.
  • Ability  to thrive in an ambiguous startup environment and effectively collaborate across teams and levels within an organization

Our Compensation Philosophy: Our goal is to ensure that all Lunar Energy employees are fairly compensated. Please note that the salary range information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position provided pursuant to the Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act for California applicants. The salary range estimate for this position depending on level of experience is: $120,000 - $165,000 USD.

The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package & benefits, will be at the company’s sole discretion, and determined by factors including but not limited to years of experience, job level, geographic location, and other relevant business considerations.
