This role sits at the center of complex satellite mission delivery programs, ensuring seamless coordination between engineering, manufacturing, operations, and customer-facing teams. You will be responsible for translating highly technical requirements into structured, executable project plans that guide end-to-end mission execution. Working in a fast-paced aerospace environment, you will ensure alignment across multiple stakeholders while maintaining strict quality, timeline, and contractual commitments. The position combines technical depth with strong project leadership and customer engagement, requiring the ability to manage ambiguity and drive clarity across global teams. You will act as a key interface between internal experts and external clients, ensuring transparency and confidence throughout mission lifecycles. This is a high-impact role where precision, communication, and ownership directly influence the success of space missions delivered worldwide.
Accountabilities:
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of end-to-end satellite mission delivery projects, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Compliance teams to define mission requirements and build feasible delivery plans during pre-sales and execution phases.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including dependencies, risks, resources, and milestones across manufacturing, integration, launch, and operations.
- Serve as the primary customer interface throughout project delivery, ensuring clear communication, expectation management, and alignment.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, operations, and legal to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
- Drive proactive risk identification, escalation, and mitigation strategies to ensure uninterrupted project delivery.
- Ensure quality assurance and delivery standards are consistently met for all mission outputs.
- 5+ years of experience in technical project or program management, ideally in aerospace, satellite systems, or complex engineering environments.
- Strong experience managing multi-workstream projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with space industry standards such as ECSS, NTSS, or equivalent frameworks.
- Solid understanding of systems engineering principles and end-to-end mission delivery processes.
- Proven ability to manage customer relationships across long-term, multi-phase technical programs.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to simplify complex technical topics.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced, and cross-functional environments.
- Strong ownership mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or CSM is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
