Technical Project/Program Management III - (E3)

• Manage material cost (MCOS) metrics and reporting for assigned business unit (BU). Present progress and results to key stakeholders, management and internal customers.
• Drive MCOS alignment with own and supporting organizations and provide project management oversight.
• Meet annual MCOS targets for BU. Generate and publish Key Process Indicators.
• With limited / no supervision, use standard tools, dashboards and BKMs to analyze and manage MCOS. Develop superior knowledge of AMAT sourcing, materials and purchasing business processes to ensure best possible MCOS result.
• Train team members on all aspects of MCOS.
• Drive pipeline projects for current and next fiscal year.
• Achieve alternate supplier/solution qualification to optimize cost and ensure supply continuity.
• Serve as a cross-functional link; maintain open communication among matrixed stakeholders including Finance, Materials, Design Engineering and Commodity Business Managers.
• Partner with team members to analyze BOM cost and identify cost reduction opportunities through design, content reduction/should cost and commercial means; track and ensure timely implementation of such opportunities.
• Influence others across a matrix of functions throughout the program/project. Analyze projected cost savings for BU for accuracy and align with Finance on commits.
• Identify cost increases and work with stakeholders to mitigate.
• Lead cost reduction projects from inception to closure.

Qualifications/Education

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or master's degree in business or engineering required. Must have previous supply chain experience.
• 4-7 years of relevant experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Superior financial acumen
