Role Summary
The Technical Quote Specialist is an experienced quoting process leader, capable of pulling together a compelling technical response to OEM RFIs and RFQs leveraging the global engineering team. This roll is for skilled practitioners of responding OEM RFIs/RFQs, preferably with ADAS experience in GM, Stellantis and Ford quoting practices. This role will be dynamic and have high visibility within the fastest growing division of Magna, a global fortune 500.
The position is based in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
Key Responsibilities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Tier1 quoting process for OEM projects.
  • Ability to read and understand customer technical specifications.
  • Knowledge of automotive ADAS products.
  • Technical level knowledge of automotive electronics products.
  • Familiarity with typical automotive OEM requirements and systems.

Key Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 10+ years' relevant experience in quoting electronics for OEM clients. (15+ years preferred)
  • Experience in ADAS products preferred.
  • Tier1 quoting experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a team environment.
  • Able to work effectively in a global environment.
  • Experience working and excelling in a matrix organization.
  • Able to work effectively in all environments.
  • Able to demonstrate self-motivation, tenacity, and determination.
  • Able to demonstrate good time management (including estimation and prioritization of own tasks).
  • Able to take ownership, act with diligence, and respond with the proper urgency and purpose to meet commitments (responsive).
  • Able to show you care about customer and team, understand customer and team's needs.
