Technical Recruiter

Ideally, you have worked on networking, security, storage, virtualization, and cloud opportunities in enterprise-level environments. Hopefully, you like to nerd out on technology! As a Technical Recruiter, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the relationship from “Hello, I’m on the recruiting team with Fivesky" to “Good luck on Monday, I'll call you to see how your first day went!”
• Source, assess, and recruit candidates for a variety of technical engineering opportunities at all levels.
• Generate qualified candidates by leveraging ads, paid job posts, your already amazing network, sourcing passive candidates using Social Media, and utilizing our generous employee referral program.
• Maintain a candidate pipeline for current and future openings.
• Perform phone & video (In-person) screens, present candidates to hiring managers, and follow through the offer process.
• Assessing the candidate’s technical and behavioral traits to fit the hiring manager and the client’s culture.
• Debriefing candidates post-interview and listening with the third ear.
• Reducing time to hire and maintaining a good offer-to-join ratio in a growing, fast-paced environment.
• Educating, exciting, and selling candidates on both the opportunity and on Fivesky as a company (This part is easy).
• Participating in regular team meetings and outings with employees to maintain communication, and develop professional relationships.

Qualifications:

• 3+ Years of experience recruiting local and global tech talent.

Skills & Experiences:

• Ability to conduct technical interviews (cybersecurity, infrastructure, virtualization, cloud, etc.).
• Experience in team motivation, and the ability to prioritize and set goals.
• Data-driven, with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and adaptability.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) (Greenhouse experience would be awesome).
• Familiar with Google Suite and able to nimbly use and navigate.
• Experience with Salesforce would be a plus.
• Proven experience competing and thriving in a dynamic environment.
• Web 2.0/BigTech experience would be awesome.

• Strong presentation, written, and oral skills, with the ability to tailor any message to a specific audience.
• Self-motivator and a go-getter with diligence to a given task and focused on your quality of work.
• Possess a high sense of urgency.
• Maintain a high amount of empathy and show emotional awareness.
• Be a team player and effective collaborator with many different types of audiences, yet be able to work independently.
• Practice tolerance and professionalism.
• Have a high degree of organization and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work in an ever-changing environment, preferably with Start-up exposure.
