Technical Recruiter
F1 Solutions has an immediate need for a Technical Recruiter. Responsibilities include sourcing, screening, interviewing, and managing the entire recruitment life cycle, from sourcing through onboarding. You will network online and offline with potential candidates to promote our employer brand, reduce our time-to-hire, and ensure we attract and retain the best talent. This position will also assist with other HR duties such as benefits, performance management, and/or developing employee training programs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recruit passive Information Technology (IT) candidates and gauge chemistry of candidates for fit and motivation.
- Sell F1, the job and the career opportunity through knowledge of our culture and benefits. Responsible for effective management of the “candidate experience” throughout the recruitment process.
- Build applicant sources by posting positions, encouraging referrals, contacting colleges and agencies, utilizing social media, and developing other, innovative candidate sources.
- Manage the entire recruitment life cycle from job posting through onboarding, ensuring that recruitment and selection procedures meet operational needs, legislative and good practice requirements.
- Write and post technical job descriptions, collaborating with leadership to understand the skills required for each position.
- Screen all resumes and conduct pre-screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities.
- Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments and behavioral questions).
- Meticulously track candidate activity in ATS, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Schedule all video and in person interviews with leadership, handling all travel or other logistics as needed.
- Administer company assessments, conduct reference checks, background checks, and drug tests.
- Write and extend offers of employment.
- Conduct all new employee onboarding and orientation.
- Work with leadership to fine tune the recruitment process, including interview guidelines and questionnaires to establish whether the non-negotiable skills and experience have been demonstrated by the applicant.
- Ensure that all job descriptions are in place and remain current and accurate.
- Recommend ideas and strategies related to HR best practices that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company.
- Assist in the development of employee training programs and continuing education opportunities.
- Assist as a fact finder for response to personnel issues.
- Assist with employee benefit administration and open enrollment
- Conduct exit interviews with terminating employees.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a full source recruiter, preferably in a technical environment.
- IT technical knowledge with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for technical roles.
- Exceptional communication skills and professional judgement.
- Strong sourcing background and skills with various recruiting media, particularly LinkedIn.
- Ability to continually seek new sourcing options and develop creative approaches to sourcing and delivering candidates.
- Working knowledge of HR practices and employment legislation.
- High attention to detail and follow through
- Ability to work well with hiring managers
- Strong commitment to continuous improvement.
- Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
