- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled; review job descriptions and plan
- Partner with Senior Technical Recruiter to collaborate on, as well as individually lead, recruitment efforts for various openings within the   technical departments at Zest AI
- Assists with the development and revision of specifications and job descriptions for selected positions
- Identify the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates
- Draft and post open roles in the most effective digital media spaces
- Identify appropriate candidates and assesses their qualifications through resume review and phone screening
- Connect qualified candidates with hiring managers
- Maintain contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status
- Advise hiring managers regarding salary negotiations with final candidates
- Facilitate contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the technical/industry community and marketplace
- Attends job fairs as appropriate
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles and technical skills:
- General understanding around modern technology, including Python, NodeJS, TypeScript, AWS Cloud, or related technologiesÂ
- Experience recruiting for technical positions, including Data Scientists, Backend Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Product Managers, etc.
- Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local  employment laws and regulations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Slack
- Bachelor’s degree in related technical and/or human resources preferred
- 2+ years of related recruiting experience, with prior experience in technical roles
