Capital Technology Group (CTG) is seeking a smart, talented, and self-motivated Technical Recruiter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with the full life cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, recommending placement, offering, and onboarding. We are looking for someone who has a passion for finding the best talent, driving company growth, and cultivating relationships. Requirements:
- Must be located in the DC area (remote work with occasional in-person travel required)
- 2+ years of combined technical and staff recruiting experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to create and foster partnerships with internal leadership
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with applicants, ensuring an exceptional application experience with CTG
- Strong business acumen, problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and self-initiative
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to understand government clearances and discuss clearance status with candidates as it relates to projects
- Ability to work independently but also enjoys contributing to a team
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse, Workable, etc.)
- A background in technical recruiting or the technology industry
Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to assess talent requirements and advise on the best hiring strategy
- Screen resumes, interview candidates, administer assessments and reference/background checks, make hiring recommendations, deliver employment offers, and assist with onboarding
- Serve as the company leader for social media and other branding campaigns for recruiting candidates within the government contracting community
- Use traditional and nontraditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates
- Apply creative sourcing tactics and explore new ways to network with top talent
