Landis is a homeownership company taking on the housing affordability crisis. Our mission is to guide people on their unique path to homeownership, and we do this through a holistic homeownership program where we buy a home for a client and rent it to them while we help them prepare for a mortgage. We are growing rapidly and looking for a Technical Recruiter to join our team. This is an exciting time to join our fast growing startup in an impactful, centralized role for a growing organization. You will collaborate across teams to understand current hiring needs and build out robust sourcing strategies to meet hiring demands. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to make an impact at an early-stage startup. Being a member of a small team, you will enjoy thinking strategically while executing quickly, having a direct impact on the company’s growth. This role reports to the Director of Recruiting.
Where you will make an impact:
- Proactively guide candidates throughout the entire hiring process, from prospecting to preliminary phone calls, through the offer phase, all the way up to on-boardingÂ
- Build and manage sourcing strategies for hard to fill roles, including market mappings of competitors
- Utilize multiple sourcing channels and develop innovative and effective sourcing strategies to ensure a qualified and diverse candidate pipeline
- Manage the pipeline of candidates in all of your open requisitions, making sure we are responding to everyone in a timely manner so that all candidates know where they are in the candidate lifecycle
- Partner with members of the company’s Executive Leadership Team on hiring demand and strategy

Your background includes:
- 4+ years of work experience in full cycle technical recruiting supporting Engineering, Product and DesignÂ
- Experience with Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem and Handshake preferred but not required
- Able to prioritize and juggle overlapping deadlines
- Strong communication skills - written and verbal
- Ability to work cross functionally with various departments
- Exceptional organization and coordination skills
- Self-starter and collaborative personality
- Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, candidates, and hiring partners
- Excellent interpersonal skills and high EQ
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Psychology, or related field
- Prior experience in technology, financial services or proptech is a plus but not a requirement

In addition to our benefits, this role offers a base salary of $120k-$150k, along with bonus potential that is paid yearly and equity in the company. The base salary varies and is determined by experience and skills that are unique to each candidate. The bonus potential is determined by individual, team and firm performance. Our existing employees are also eligible for an equity refresh based on individual, team, and company performance.
