Technical Recruiter

Garda is seeking a dynamic, energetic Technical Recruiter to join our Human Resources team in New York or Wayzata. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and proactive problem-solver passionate about delivering a first-class recruitment experience for candidates and internal teams.

Position Responsibilities

• Reviewing employment applications, evaluating work history, education and training, job skills, compensation needs, and other qualifications of applicants
• Conduct first and second round interviews with applicants for quantitative and/or technology roles
• Provide a high-quality experience for potential candidates through effective communication and consistent follow-through
• Proactively identify ways to source candidates using LinkedIn and other social sites. Introduce new and innovative ways to engage talent for hard to fill roles
• Work with heads of each function to produce accurate job descriptions explaining responsibilities and qualifications for each role
• Build strong relationships internally to understand the business plan, and develop pipelines to staff anticipated hiring needs
• Continually enhance our recruiting processes

Qualifications & Desired Skills

• Recruiting experience at a financial institution, tech firm, recruitment agency, or similar type of firm preferred
• Technology or quantitative recruiting experience preferred
• Detail-oriented nature
• Strong independence and initiative, including a tenacious drive for results
• Ability to effectively communicate among all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated understanding of how to move forward in complex, high-pressure, ambiguous situations
• Ability and willingness to work unconventional hours
