Technical RFP Content / Proposal Writer - Cloud Telephony

Employment: Full Time Temporary Employment (6 months with possible extension or Full Time Employment)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Request For Proposal (RFP) Content / Proposal Writer to join our growing team. As a RFP Content / Proposal Writer at Eventus you will work closely with the sales teams, subject matter experts, technical teams, and vendors to prepare concisely tailored responses, create compelling narratives, and drive win themes for Cloud Telephony services for RFP responses and proposals. You will own the RFP lifecycle. Your primary goal will be to produce high-quality written materials that effectively communicate our organization's technical capabilities, services, expertise, and solutions to potential clients. You will play a critical role in shaping our company's RFP responses and influence business success.
*As part of the interview process, writing samples will be requested and a writing test may be conducted.
In this role, you will be responsible for:• RFP Content Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, sales engineers, technical experts, solution architects, and vendors, to develop detailed and comprehensive responses to RFPs related to cloud telephony contact center services.• Proposal Writing: Craft persuasive and technically accurate proposals for cloud telephony contact center projects, highlighting our organization's unique value proposition, solution design, and technical capabilities.• Solution Mapping: Translate technical requirements from RFPs and coordinate key resources to develop cohesive and well-structured responses that showcase our cloud telephony contact center solutions address client needs and deliver business value.• Technical Research: Conduct in-depth research on cloud telephony contact center technologies, industry trends, best practices, and competitors to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is incorporated into RFP responses and proposals.• Compliance and Formatting: Ensure RFP responses and proposals comply with all requirements outlined in the RFP document, including formatting, style, and submission guidelines.• Quality Assurance: Review and edit RFP responses and proposals to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to the organization's branding and messaging guidelines.• Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with internal stakeholders and vendors to gather necessary information, validate technical details, and ensure timely completion of RFP responses and proposals.• Knowledge Management: Contribute to the development and maintenance of a knowledge base or library containing reusable content, technical references, and best practices related to cloud telephony solutions.• Industry Awareness: Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, vendor landscape and developments in cloud telephony and related fields to continuously enhance the quality and competitiveness of our proposals.
Qualifications For Success:• 7 + years working as a technical writer with a focus on RFP, RFQ, RFI and / or proposal writing• Analytical and research skills to gather information from cross functional teams and SMEs to incorporate into RFP responses• Ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.• Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously• Experience working with technology products, services and industry trends with the ability to quickly grasp and articulate technical information.• Experience with proposal management tools and software• Knowledge of Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) or Cloud Telephony platforms focusing on call routing, IVR systems, common CRM platforms across a number of CCaaS vendors is preferred• Bachelors degree preferred

Applicants can expect to make between $96,000 to $125,000 upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon experience, skills, certifications, education among other factors as required in the job description.
