About the position:

Raymond's Customer Service team is looking to add a Technical Support Specialist in Syracuse, NY to support in aftermarket modifications, equipment control module programming and printing truck capacity tags. This will entail working directly with customers, Sales and Support Centers, Toyota Material Handling, and internal organizations for the resolution of technical, scientific, or engineering issues that affect the sales, installation, and utilization of Raymond products and/or services.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responds to routine and semi-routine technical inquiries from the worldwide Raymond Dealer Network.
• Follows specific procedures in completing work tasks but expected to recommend/change outdated or ineffective procedures.
• Frequently interfaces with internal and/or external customers in situations that often require high degrees of tact and discretion.
• Maintains database and/or records, files, correspondence, etc., with appropriate supporting material. Update information as required.
• Provides support on special projects/accounts.
• Provides support for new product development as required. Reviews new product status to ensure start up readiness and ensures technical documentation is available before and after launch to support customer demands.
• Works with other departments to discuss equipment service and modification.
• Exercises discretion and independence.
• Has a defined degree of latitude for unreviewed action and decision.
• May propose changes in products and/or services that result in cost reductions.

About the schedule:

This position is 1stshift and will report onsite in Syracuse, NY.

About you:

• A Bachelor's Degree is required or a related technical certificate
• 2-5 years of experience in a technical sales related field
• Ability to read and interpret supplier drawings and BOMs
• Requires significant independent evaluation, good judgment, and originality
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; SAP and Oracle CRM, ServiceNow experience preferred.
• Experience with JD Edwards is a plus.
• Strong communication skills both verbally and written.

About the total compensation package:

Salary-$67,614 - $86,689 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidates education, skill and experience.

Relocation -This position may qualify for relocation.
