Essential Functions

  • SEO best practices: Stay current with Google's algorithm updates, adapt and refine our SEO strategies effectively, ensuring optimal performance and compliance across all digital platforms.
  • Organic Traffic and Conversion Analysis: Evaluate historical data to optimize organic traffic strategies and enhance content for better conversion rates. Implement effective placement of conversion touchpoints and utilize rank tracking and other tools for ongoing SEO monitoring.
  • Competitive and Local SEO Analysis: Provide insights on competitive positioning and keyword opportunities. Conduct local SEO audits to improve visibility and user experience at a location-specific level.
  • Technical SEO Audit and Optimization: Lead audits covering all technical SEO aspects such as Meta Data, Structured Data, and link integrity to ensure optimal site performance for crawling and indexing. Provide optimization recommendations and support the technical needs of the team.
  • Content and UX Analysis for SEO: Analyze user experience and content interaction to identify improvements that enhance key metrics like dwell time and engagement. Assess content optimization and provide actionable insights to boost SEO and user experience.
  • Keyword Research and Content Planning: Conduct detailed research for strategic keyword sets and develop an annual content strategy. Identify content opportunities and oversee the production plan to enhance search engine rankings.
  • Brand Playbook Development: Develop and maintain an SEO playbook that serves as the strategic guide for internal teams, detailing immediate needs, setting goals, and outlining future initiatives tailored to each brand.
  • SEO Performance Metrics: Utilize advanced analytics to monitor, analyze, and make data-driven decisions to optimize strategies and demonstrate quantifiable ROI results from SEO initiatives.
  • Technical Requirements: Create requirements for the technical team to implement SEO strategies and enhancements. Ensure execution is in alignment with technical specifications and business objectives.

As the Technical SEO Manager, you are responsible for enhancing the technical aspects of our SEO strategy across GoTo Foods' portfolio of ecommerce platforms. This role is crucial in optimizing our online presence to improve organic search rankings, drive traffic, and boost conversion rates. You will collaborate with product, technology, and marketing teams to integrate SEO with overall digital marketing efforts, creating seamless online and local SEO experiences.

Work Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in SEO with a proven track record in technical SEO, content strategy, and user engagement analytics.

Skills & Abilities

  • Proficient with SEO tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Search Console, and others.
  • Strong understanding of the latest SEO practices, including mobile optimization, keyword expansion, backlinking and industry-specific content needs.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Licenses/Certifications

  • SEO certifications preferred, such as the SEMrush or Moz SEO Certification, Google Certified Professional Search Engine Optimization exam.
