Technical Services Engineer (CAS)

The Bazaarvoice Content Activation Solution (CAS) Technical Services team is hiring an Implementation Engineer with experience delivering custom integration technologies in a professional services capacity. As an Implementation Engineer, you will partner closely with client-facing and engineering colleagues in the US, UK, and Australia to deliver and support Bazaarvoice CAS products and services. This is a hybrid role that incorporates both business and technical responsibilities. Working hours are from 10 am to 7pm, and this team observes US holidays.

What You Will Do

• Implement Content Activation Solution (CAS) products for Bazaarvoice clients, including implementing and configuring custom web applications
• Manage deliverables and timelines for varying technical projects/tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Provide technical consulting and support for Bazaarvoice CAS products and services to client-facing colleagues and clients
• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to resolve bugs and provide technical input for feature development
• Develop and execute queries on datasets using SQL and REST web services
• Develop tooling/scripting to automate tasks and perform data analysis
• Develop and maintain technical documentation

Who You Are

• 1+ years of experience in an IT role supporting software/SaaS client products or services
• Fluent English skills
• Strong analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic or intermediate experience with scripting languages (e.g. JavaScript, Python, Bash)
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)

Nice To Have

• Strong technical troubleshooting skills using industry-accepted best-practices and tools
• Experience managing deliverables and timelines for varying projects/tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with project/task management systems (e.g. Jira)
• Basic or intermediate experience with front-end web development using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Basic or intermediate experience with SQL
• Experience with cloud computing services platform (e.g. Amazon Web Services)
• Familiarity with REST web services
