As our Technical Services Manager, you'll be at the heart of efficiency. You organize and lead maintenance work on company facilities, production equipment and technical administration and provide technical support in the implementation of new production equipment. With your expertise, you'll not only keep our systems in peak condition but also play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our manufacturing excellence.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Planning and scheduling work such as maintenance and breakdown work within the operations department.
- Providing technical support to the Manufacturing Engineering department in the implementation of new production tools that simplify the assembly of a bicycle and reduce the risk of errors.
- Develop and maintain a maintenance system to ensure optimal equipment availability, including during production and company vacations.
- Record how failure-prone machine parts are to improve the maintenance system.
- Analyze failures and implement preventive measures to achieve zero safety incidents and breakdowns.
- Responsible for keeping purchase parts, spare materials and cutting tools for production up to date.
- Responsible for maintenance of plant, machinery, other tools and technical administration.
- Responsible for machine safety and machinery compliance with laws and regulations.
- Conducting safety rounds and inspection order and cleanliness as part of 5S.
- Determine what maintenance should be performed by the TD or by outside contractors.
- Initiate, guide and/or execute CAPEX investment proposals.
- Arranging and supervising the fault repair service.
- Monitor the maintenance budget made available and if necessary, take timely action to prevent overruns in consultation with department managers.
- Maintain contacts with various external suppliers.
- Manage the performance of approximately 2 employees in the technical department. Conduct and coordinate goal setting discussions with Manager of Manufacturing Engineering.
- Provide instructions, supervision and accident reports. Report unsafe situations and provide resolutions.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Completed technical HBO education or demonstrable HBO working- and thinking level.
- Leadership experience within a Technical Department.
- You speak and write fluent Dutch and English.
- Some knowledge of applicable techniques such as mechanical, structural and control engineering, welding technology and pneumatics.
- Knowledge of all common machinery and current scheduled maintenance program.
- Knowledge of and experience in organizing work and leadership.
- Knowledge of spreadsheets and order/budget administration.
- Has knowledge of LEAN methods and techniques and knows in which situation to apply them.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for cycling/outdoor sports is a plus.
