Technical Solution Architect - OpenShift & Machine Learning Platform

Introduction
As an IBM Application Architect you directly help clients transform their business  and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms.  You are a technical leader serving as a liaison among business partners technical resources and project stakeholders.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Design setup and secure on-premise OpenShift clusters including RedHat Advance Cluster Management (ACM) and Advance Container Security (ACS).
• Design build deploy and manage applications on OpenShift clusters as a Platform Services.
• Design setup and deploy machine learning application & pipelines (MLOps).
• Understand the use of GPUs (including VM architecture allocation) and segment for ML training and experimentation through Python Jupyter notebooks.
• Design and deploy AWS cloud infrastructure specifically for self-managed OpenShift clusters covering S3 RDS KMS EC2 Cert Management Routing & Networking.
• Design containerize CICD pipeline using Gitlab Pipeline/OpenShift Pipeline.
• Design RedHat SSO/Keycloak realms securing access setup solution configure and deployment.
• Design setup server configuration and schema access for PostgreSQL and OracleDB. Include Runbook and Operation automation
• Perform hardening & compliance clearance of OpenShift/Container App/Databases based on CIS/NIST benchmark as well as additional secure standard defined by the Organisation
• Work hands-on and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Write and maintain infrastructure as code deployments for hybrid cloud solution.
• Design Python application/adapters and lead development team to deliver.
• Lead and mentor junior team members including Platform Engineers & DevSecOps Engineers.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 3+ years of experience in AWS cloud infra design implementation & operation.
• 3+ years of experience in designing setting up and securing on-premise OpenShift clusters.
• 3+ years of experience in deploying and managing applications on OpenShift clusters.
• 2+ years of experience in machine learning application pipeline design and deployment including MLOps & Data Lakes integration.
• Experience in leading SIT UAT Performance test for Containerized platform & Apps on design define objectives and execution plan.
• Strong understanding of RedHat SSO or Keycloak OIDC concept RBAC and ABAC controls.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and OracleDB server config and schema design.
• Hands-on experience with container/Linux commands infrastructure as a code deployment and Python application development.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience with advance OpenShift/Kubernetes operations & IM8 compliance.
• Experience with JFrog Artifactory for image CICD & management.
• Experience with Gitlab CICD Pipeline design and delivery
• Experience in Active Directory design concept implementation and integrations
• Experience in database design & management control around migration/replication sync with Oracle Golden Gate.
