The Solutions Architect will collaborate closely with our clients and internal teams to craft solutions that align with business objectives and technical requirements. This role demands strong technical expertise, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to translate complex business needs into effective technical solutions.

Essential Role and Responsibilities

• Solution Design: Work in partnership with clients and internal stakeholders to comprehensively understand business needs. Develop innovative and scalable solutions that not only meet these requirements but also consider factors such as performance, security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Technical Expertise: Stay at the forefront of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Apply deep technical knowledge to recommend the most suitable technologies and solutions for client projects.
• Architecture Documentation: Create clear and thorough architectural documentation, including system designs, diagrams, and technical specifications, to guide development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Client Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, demystifying technical concepts and assisting them in making informed decisions regarding technology investments.
• Collaboration: Forge strong partnerships with development teams to ensure the seamless and efficient implementation of designed solutions. Provide ongoing guidance and support to ensure project success.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews and technical assessments to uphold the quality and integrity of solutions.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and challenges within proposed solutions and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Cost Management: Factor in cost considerations when designing solutions and offer cost-effective recommendations to clients.

Qualifications:

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required. (Master's preferred)

Experience

• Proven experience as a Technical Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, or in a similar role
• Deep knowledge of software development, cloud computing, and IT infrastructure.
• Proficiency in architecture modeling tools and methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Capability to collaborate effectively within a team or work independently when required.

Certification

• Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, are advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DoD, federal, and civilian agencies
• Exceptional project management skills
• Understanding of cybersecurity concepts
