Technical Solutions Leader - PFAS and Emerging Contaminants

Mission of the Position

The mission of the Technical Solutions Leader - PFAS and Emerging Contaminants, is to be Allonnia's subject matter expert on deployment of solutions for these challenging contaminants. This person will be the technical partner to the business development team and drive new technology adoption in the remediation and sensing markets. This person will also lead development of deployment design strategies with current and prospective customers of Allonnia's products, including participating in technical proposal preparation. Allonnia's Technical Solutions Leader will aspire to be an industry thought leader in this space, helping maintain and increase Allonnia's reputation for market-changing innovation.

Key Criteria/Requirements• Master's degree in relevant science or engineering; Ph.D. preferred• 7+ years of relevant experience characterizing and remediating contaminated sites or designing and implementing water/wastewater treatment, including 5+ years focusing on PFAS and other emerging contaminants, especially 1,4-dioxane• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including a record of consistent presentations at conferences, webinars, client seminars, proposal interviews, etc.• Demonstrated success securing funding for and leading implementation of innovative technology demonstrations for emerging contaminants• Effective organization/analytical skills; demonstrated success writing detailed technical proposals and reports• Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision• Thrives in a fast-paced environment. Must be capable of managing multiple projects that are deadline oriented, handle interruptions, and be flexible with changing tasks• The integrity to maintain and promote high social, ethical, and organizational standards in all matters• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Boston preferred, but location is flexible

Measurable Accountabilities• Provide technical direction for emerging contaminants product applications including field demonstrations• Lead technical proposal preparation • Provide technical support for commercialization and business development activities • Provide market insights to assist with strategy development for R&D and commercialization • Leverage personal/professional network to assist in business development • Serve as principal investigator for government funded R&D and technology demonstrations • Represent Allonnia in industry organizations and conferences as a thought leader
