TSS - Partner Optimization
Alarm.com, a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial technology company, is seeking a Technical Solution Specialist for Partner Optimization to join our talented Account Management team.  This role works closely with the product and sales teams at Alarm.com to increase partner engagement, prioritize feedback from the field and reduce the cost to serve for Alarm.com’s API offerings and Partner Tools adoption.
This includes everything from backend integrations to customer support tools to end user features and functionality. We’re searching for driven individuals with a passion for technology, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a desire to drive and manage relationships internally across departments and externally with our partners.Â
Primary job responsibilities:
- Drives the adoption and implementation of various Partner Tools and Web Services through proactive outreach and technical consultation.
- Effectively communicates with senior IT and business decision makers. Confident even in tense or adversarial situations. Leads conversations in a professional, deliberate, persuasive and coordinated manner.
- Leads API, Seamless Login, and Delegated Authentication implementation projects.
- Develops and reviews detailed API usage reports to enhance existing business and assists in growth of current API offerings
- Consults with key partners to improve their efficiencies.
- Support the Implementation and adoption of our Partner Tool suite.
- Fields internal questions on the Partner Tools and APIs behind our technical offerings, acting as a technical resource for the team and our partners.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree, required (engineering degrees preferred)
- 2-5 years working in sales engineering and/or software engineering roles
- Strong knowledge of fundamentals of development, integrations, and implementations
- Experience and background in software development
- Demonstrates proficiency in analyzing data
- Familiarity with coding languages like JSON, SOAP, C#, and SQL skills
- Demonstrated customer service orientation and disposition
- Ability to communicate clearly via verbal and written communication with all levels of the organization and external parties
- Ability to adapt to changing work requirements and priorities that require overtime or extended hours
- Ability to contribute to a team as well as complete tasks independently
- 25% Travel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
- Project Management Certification (PMP)
- Network+ Certification
- Experience with Training, Education, Project Management, Consulting, Electronic Security and Access Control, Home Automation, HVAC, Networking, IP Video, Data Analysis, Technical Writing, Technical Support and Operations, Enterprise Sales and Services, Sales Engineering
